When conducting marine surveys, the non-destructive feature makes
the GRP-33 especially well suited for appraisal work, damage inspection,
and repair procedures. Because the meter will readily detect water well
below the surface of the wood or fiber-glass, even qualitative readings
are of great value in locating moisture, hidden water pockets and leaks.
Just move the sensing pad from spot to spot in order
to reveal abnormal areas which may require further detailed inspection.
Woodwork, such as shipwright carpentry, may be examined without damage,
to reveal the likelihood of rot.
The Marine Moisture Meter GRP 33 is
recommended for use by Surveyors, Boat Yards, Yacht Brokers, Marine
Coating Cos., Yacht Designers, Marine Repair Specialists, Boat Owners
